Utilising a sophisticated combination of Range-Controlled Radar and PIR technologies, this sensor gives you total Coverage-On-Demand, and Range-Controlled Radar-PI sets a new standard for pet immunity, up to 36kgs. It reduces installation and training time, since the installer does not need to make any complicated adjustments to the sensor. A jumper switch allows you to quickly select a desired range setting. Coverage-On-Demand ensures the sensor detects only objects within a desired area. The sensor works like a sonar on a submarine, transmitting radar signals the 'ping' the coverage area, then bounce back tothe sensor on the same path. It determines the attributes of an object by calculating its size and distance from the sensor. This allows it to ignore pets such as cats and dogs without any loss of detection. |
